Land in Hanoi by 11PM. Free time in the city (dinner, a wander through the Old Quarter, your call) before the group transfer picks up at a pre-arranged central location at 1145pm for the roughly six-hour overnight drive north to Flipside Base in Ha Giang. Meals are NOT included

Distance: 115km Early arrival at Flipside Base gives you time to nap, refresh, and shower before breakfast at 7:30am, followed by a full safety and route briefing. By 9:30am the group repacks and rolls out to start the loop, riding a quiet backroad built during Covid, straight into dramatic scenery. Depending on conditions, expect a stop at a hidden swimming hole or a chance to support a local family. Late lunch in a peaceful spring-fed village, then a swim or short trek before dinner and cold Bia Hoi. Meals: B, L, D
Location: Ha Giang
Distance: 120km Breakfast at a local spot or the homestay, then riding through Red Dao and Nung villages with plenty of stops for photos and culture along the way. Lunch in a remote Tay village, with a visit to a cave system that naturally filters water for the surrounding community. In the afternoon, the group tackles the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. Dinner is a seasonal feast hosted by local Hmong families. Meals: B, L, D
Location: Ha Giang
Distance: 140km Breakfast at the homestay, then a ride southwest through striking karst formations near the border, passing rock and fossil sites dating back to the Jurassic. Lunch in Yen Minh at one of the province's oldest running restaurants. The afternoon is a smooth, newly paved road with photo stops, coffee breaks, and a possible swim. Back at the villa, 4-day guests settle in for poolside drinks and a BBQ. Meals: B, L, D
Location:
A slow start with a swim or a lie-in, fresh fruit and pancakes for breakfast. The final ride (or drive) winds through ethnic minority villages off the tourist trail, stilt houses, rice paddies, spring-fed pools, moving at your own pace with time to explore caves or waterfalls. Lunch is shared with an Easy Rider's family or a local BBQ by the water, wrapping around 3:30pm. Private transfer back to Hanoi (~6 hours) recommended booked from 16:00 onward. Meals: B, L

We recommend flying Singapore Airlines for this trip. Book the outbound on 25 Mar (Thu) departing Singapore Changi at 14:55 (SQ194), a direct flight arriving in Hanoi at 17:25. You'll have some free time in the city before the group transfer picks up at 11:30pm for the overnight drive to Ha Giang. For the return, fly out of Hanoi on 30 Mar (Tue) at 16:15 (SQ195), direct back to Singapore, arriving at 20:45. Both legs are direct on Singapore Airlines, no connections to worry about. As of 12 Aug 2026, flights are going for around ~SGD 346. Prices will likely rise closer to the date, so we'd recommend booking early.
