Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 2: Chengdu -> Kangding
Location:
Have a morning hotel breakfast then depart Chengdu around 12:00 for the ~4-hour drive to Kangding. Check in to a Kangding homestay and have dinner in town. Breakfast and Dinner included
Day 3: The Trek In - Gexi Grassland to Base Camp
Location:
Wake up at 7am, have a simple breakfast in the hotel then depart via a 40 minute 4WD transfer to Layulin. From Laoyulin, trek through the Gexi Grassland and Liangchahe valley to the Shangriwuqie Base Camp (4000m elevation) , arriving around 19:00. Camp dinner; communal tent sleeping. (Option to get a horse ride) (Total route ~16km) (700m altitude climb) Breakfast and Dinner included
Day 4: Ice Lake Sunrise -> back to Chengdu
Location:
06:00 start for the Leduomanyin ice lake (4,600m) at sunrise. Back to camp around 11:00 to rest and have lunch, then descend via Gexi Grassland to Laoyulin homestay to freshen up a bit! Prepare for a 4.5hr drive back to Chengdu, arriving ~19:00-20:00. Overnight Chengdu.
Day 5: Back to Singapore
Location:
Hotel breakfast in Chengdu and checkout to catch your flight back home! Till the next adventure

Getting There
Arrival: Fly into Chengdu (CTU) on 20 March 2027. Any arrival time works; an overnight stay in Chengdu is included before the trip begins. Departure: Fly out of Chengdu (CTU) on 24 March 2027. Any departure time works; we return to Chengdu by the 23rd with an overnight stay before your flight home.
